SexyMoxieMama’s Breakfast Casserole

SexyMoxieMamaSummertime is the time of year when we do the most entertaining. We enjoy house guests from all over the country during the summer months as the kids are out of school at that time. It has become an interesting pasttime to try new recipes.

This is a breakfast casserole recipe that I usually reserve for the winter holidays. It has become a favorite of our house guests.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Mild or Hot Pork Sausage
  • 1/2 Cup chopped onion
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 7 Cups Hash Browns (cooked)
  • 1/2 Cup 2% Milk
  • 8 Large Eggs

Directions:

  1. Cook sausages in a large skillet until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain.
  2. Cook hash browns according to package directions.
  3. Mix hash browns, sausage, and cheese. Pour into a greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  4. Mix eggs and milk together. Pour evenly over hash brown mixture.
  5. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.

Serves 10. 415 calories per serving.
