
This is a breakfast casserole recipe that I usually reserve for the winter holidays. It has become a favorite of our house guests.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Mild or Hot Pork Sausage
- 1/2 Cup chopped onion
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 7 Cups Hash Browns (cooked)
- 1/2 Cup 2% Milk
- 8 Large Eggs
Directions:
- Cook sausages in a large skillet until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain.
- Cook hash browns according to package directions.
- Mix hash browns, sausage, and cheese. Pour into a greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
- Mix eggs and milk together. Pour evenly over hash brown mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
Serves 10. 415 calories per serving.
