Motivational Music Monday: Staying Alive

Without giving away my age, this song has been a part of my life (literally) since I was born. I remember my mom listening to this LP on our old Kenwood record player and dancing around to it in the living room. Now, my boy dances around the kitchen to it.

These days I use this song mostly for running. With 104 beats per minute (bpm) I can get a pretty good runners stride going. Although I have been known to try to keep the beat and have ended up with shin splints. But that’s neither here nor there.

This song has also been recommended by the American Heart Association for Hands Only CPR for teens or adults that need CPR.
