Eating foods that don’t taste “healthy” is one way that I have been able to keep him eating Paleo for so long. One product we found that doesn’t taste “healthy” we discovered at our local health foods store. It is a treat called Hail Merry Miracle Tarts. These vegan and gluten-free tarts are great as they uses all natural and raw ingredients. The chocolate tarts are our favorite. They are made with organic maple syrup, fair trade dark cocoa, almond flour, sea salt, and extra virgin coconut oil (versus cream) to make a heavy ganache. These tarts are literally melt in-your-mouth good. Unfortunately, the price keeps us from being able to enjoy them as much as we would like to. Selling at nearly $4.00 per 3 ounce tart, the price is not as good as the taste.
So, I decided to experiment with some Paleo ingredients I have at home, attempting to recreate the taste, texture, and awesomeness healthiness of the Hail Merry tarts but for a much cheaper. What I created, is much better. Using natural and raw ingredients, these Paleo chocolate mini tarts are not only cheaper but richer in flavor and texture. If you are following a Paleo, vegan or gluten-free lifestyle you are sure to love these. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your chocolate mini tart recipe. It looks really good and sounds good too!
I love overall, that you called it a lifestyle and not a diet!
I think by not calling it a “diet”, my husband and I have been able to stick with it a lot longer. :)
That looks absolutely amazing and now you have made me want sweets!
